It's not Christmas, but it sure felt like it at the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society and Windsor Regional Hospital.
Local businessman Sam Sinjari donated over 200 new board games to the CAS to give families a new tool for bonding.
He says with Family Day coming up, board games are a great way to spend quality time together.
"This is to just help families get closer to one another and for me," he says. "That is very important especially with some of the children and families that are adapting to a new environment."
This is the second year, Sinjari has made the donation and believes it will become an annual gift from him.

Over at Windsor Regional Hospital, Transition to Betterness and The Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Foundation donated dozens of backpacks filled with fun, educational toys.
"It brings me great joy and we replenish these backpacks a few times a year," says Stephanie Zekelman. "I'm a mom myself and I think we have all been touched with cancer so anything I can do to give back."
This is the 10th year for the 'Back the Pack Program' to provide each child in the Paediatric Oncology unit a fun distraction.
