An update on a story AM800 first told you about Wednesday morning.
Two of the 3 people who suffered stab wounds and lacerations have now been charged.
Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call for a robbery at an apartment building on University Avenue near McKay shortly before 5 am.
Two people were in the unit and officers determined there had been a violent encounter.
Windsor police spokesperson Sergeant Steve Betteridge says the investigation led them to another person who was involved.
"They canvassed the area, spoke to many witnesses. Officers also located a third party another adult male who was currently at a hospital in Windsor being treated with non-life threatening injuries that were consistent with being in a struggle and a violent encounter"
Sgt. Betteridge says the three people knew each other and it was not a random incident.
"Investigators are very confident that the three injured parties were at that unit at the same time they were all known to each other and when the dispute turned violent it ended up with two out of the three facing charges"
23-year-old Michael Courtemanche faces two counts of aggravated assault.
42-year-old David Sirls is charged with assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and robbery as well as several probation and other breaches.
Police won't say if a weapon has been recovered.
