Charges have now been laid after a stabbing in downtown Windsor.
Last Tuesday officers were called to the area of Wyandotte St. W and Church St. — Windsor Police Services say one man was suffering from a serious stab wound and a woman had minor injuries.
The Major Crimes Branch was able to identify two suspects and arrested them last Friday without incident in the 400 block of Wyandotte St. W.
A 24-year-old Windsor man is charged with robbery with a weapon, aggravated assault, assault, breach undertaking, possession of suspected fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and possession of suspected methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
Police have also charged a 23-year-old Windsor woman with robbery with a weapon and aggravated assault.
According to police, the incident is believed to be over a piece of jewellery.
