The driver of a transport truck has been charged with impaired driving after a crash on the 401 in Chatham-Kent.
The OPP were called around 9:30pm Wednesday for a crash near Kent Bridge Road.
A town truck was setting up to remove a vehicle from the centre median when a transport truck collided with the tow truck.
While speaking with the driver of the transport truck, the officer determined the driver had been drinking and took him to the detachment for a breath test.
A 49-year-old man from Ste. Anne, Manitoba has been charged with driving while ability impaired, driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 mg of alcohol in blood.
He's also been charged with failing to move over for emergency vehicle or tow truck.
