A historic moment in CHL hockey takes place in Sarnia Friday.
Windsor Spitfires coach Trevor Letowski is part of the retiring of Steve Stamkos' jersey ahead of tonights OHL match up.

Letowski won gold playing for team Canada at the 1997 World Juniors in Switzerland, Stamkos struck gold in Sweden 10 years ago and current Sarnia forward Jordan Kyrou took the honor in Buffalo.
"It's going to be cool for me, it's where I played my junior hockey," says Letowski. "I know Steven [Stamkos] a little bit and obviously I know Jordan [Kyrou], I coached him and spent this time with him," says Letowski. "Yeah, it's going to be a cool moment to be back on that rink. I still remember when I came back as a player after we won in Switzerland in 1997."
Letowski says this has never happened before in Sarnia — he's in rare company as someone who has won gold as a player and as a coach.
