The Amherstburg Freedom Museum has completed a major upgrade and renovation.
Work includes replacing lighting fixtures, gallery windows, the roof and the roof and siding of the historic Taylor Log Cabin has also been replaced.
Museum Curator Mary-Katherine Whelan says the upgrades will safeguard the museum's collections and buildings.
The museum preserves the historic place Amherstburg held in the Underground Railway.
A Trillium Grant of $120,000 made the changes possible.
