Transit Windsor is apologizing for a scheduling error that left high school students without bussing for exams.
Executive Director Pat Delmore says Transit Windsor moved to a summer schedule this week and accidentally did not run any buses to specific locations to pick up students this morning.
Students were waiting for the bus this morning and buses didn't arrive.
Delmore says Transit Windsor is owning up to the mistake.
"We have contacted the schools to explain the situation and it is our understanding that they are working with the students who were affected to be able to write their exams," says Delmore.
"We certainly do apologize for the error."
Delmore says students at Massey, Holy Names and St. Joseph's were affected.
Catholic School Board Spokesperson Steve Fields says Transit Windsor has also assured the board that buses will be available today after exams to drop off students.
