Wine sampling a giant dragon all part of the Devonshire Mall displays this weekend
If you want to see what's available locally as tourist destinations, Devonshire Mall is the place to be.
The 7th Staycation Expo is set up with 39 displays from various locations, communities, and events taking place over the summer months.
It's a production of Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island and runs Friday and Saturday.
TWEPI CEO Gordon Orr says the Staycation expo is to help educate people about what's available.
"Since our largest market segment is people coming here to visit friends and relatives, that's the point we want to instill. the point is we want to charge and teach our locals to become ambassadors, hometown tourists."
TWEPI Board Chair Nelson Santos says the expo is like a catalogue of what's in Windsor Essex.
"Here you can actually get your first glimpse of what we have in our own backyards. the Staycation proposal, this project has continued to grow year-over-year and as we see, not just the assets and the partners here, but the destination that we truly are."
The Official Visitors Guide was also unveiled showing a harvest dinner at a local winery.
As well as events and destinations the Staycation Expo also has samplings from a dozen local wineries.
