St. Clair College has fallen to 0-2 at the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association women's basketball championship in Quebec.
The Saints fell to Vancouver Island University (Nanaimo, B.C.) 93-89 in overtime on Friday.
St. Clair led the fourth-ranked Mariners 33-19 after the opening quarter and had a seven-point lead at halftime, but the Saints were outscored 53-42 in the second half and overtime.
Jana Kucera lead St. Clair with 34 points, while St. Anne grad Anna Ulicny added 22.
With the loss, the Saints fall out of medal contention but will play again for placement on Saturday.
