A US manufacturer and distributor of parts for the tool, mold and die industry now has a Canadian base of operations.
PCS Company of Fraser, Michigan has opened a 2500 sq. foot distribution centre in Oldcastle.

The company makes about a third of their product and are distributors for the rest.
Company President David Cataldi says they cut the ribbon this morning but have been open a couple of weeks.
He says business is good already and they think there's a lot more to come and the opportunity it presents for them.
Cataldi believes they have a competitive advantage.

"We think our products, we have better quality and cost and we're much better at delivering from a timing standpoint than our competitors" says Cataldi, "So we think it's a great opportunity to come in to better serve the market quite frankly"
There are currently 2 employees at the warehouse with an expectation of more.
Warden Tom Bain, on hand for the opening, says it's encouraging companies from outside the country are setting up shop here to serve the growing tool, mold and dies industry.
