Today is 'Jobbie Nooner'.
Thousands of boats filled with partiers converge on Lake St. Clair's Gull Island today, for a day of surf, sand and alcohol.
Law enforcement from both sides of the border plan to patrol the waterways today.
Police will also be set up on roadways around the area to look for any impaired drivers.
'Jobbie Nooner' was started by a bunch of auto workers who called themselves "Jobbies." The event has grown since the first 'Jobbie Nooner' 43 years ago.
