Detroit lost 41 to the White Sox Sunday afternoon

The Detroit Tigers tied a Major League Baseball record, but not one to brag about.

Detroit struck out 20 times in a 4-1 loss to the White Sox in Chicago Sunday afternoon.

The Sox are the seventh team in history to record 20 strikeouts in a nine inning game.

Grayson Greiner knocked in the lone run for the Tigers who have now lost four straight.

Detroit was part of the last 20 strikeout game as well when the Washington National's Max Scherzer did it in 2016.
