The Detroit Tigers selected high school outfielder Riley Greene fifth overall in the MLB draft.
Greene batted .422 with eight home runs for Hagerty High School outside of Orlando this year.
In the second round, Detroit took third baseman Nick Quintana out of the University of Arizona with the 47th overall pick. Quintana had a .342 average with 15 home runs and 77 RBI for the Wildcats in 2019.
