The Detroit Tigers have signed Lefty pitcher Matt Moore to a one-year contract.
According to MLB.com, the deal is expected to be worth between $2.5-million to $3-million.
The 29-year-oold went went 3-8 with a 6.79 ERA for the Texas Rangers last season, making 39 appearances, including 12 starts.
He was an All-Star with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2013 when he went 17-4 with a 3.29 ERA but had Tommy John surgery in 2014 and missed most of the 2014 and '15 seasons.
