Tigers Lose Third Straight

The slumping Tigers fall to the Twins in Minnesota

C.J. Cron and Eddie Rosario both homered as the Twins topped the Detroit Tigers 6-4 in Minnesota.  

Cron knocked in three runs, while Rosario finished 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.

Byron Buxton added two hits and an RBI for the Twins, who swept the weather-shortened two-game series.  

Jose Berrios struck out seven while pitching two-run ball into the seventh inning for the win.  

Trevor Hildenberger closed it out for his first save.

Gordon Beckham went deep for Detroit, which lost its third MLB game in-a-row.  Jordan Zimmermann was tagged for five runs in three frames as he fell to 0-and-2.

The Tigers will host the Pirates on Tuesday.
