The Detroit Tigers are kicking themselves after letting one slip away in Seattle.
The Tigers scored two runs in the 1st inning off of a home run from first baseman John Hicks and would hold the lead with Francisco Liriano pitching no hitter into the 7th inning before the Mariners forced extra innings in the bottom of the ninth.
Mitch Haniger hit a home run of his own to tie up the game before Jean Segura hit an RBI single in the 11th inning to win it for the Mariners.
Liriano had five stirkouts and gave up just one hit with his pitch count hitting 102.
The Tigers drop three of four in Seattle and begin a three-game series in Minnesota against the Twins on Monday at 8:10pm.
