Tigers Get Swept In Anaheim

Kole Calhoun homered to lead off the first inning and the Angels went on to beat the Tigers 6-0 in Anaheim.

Justin Upton added a two-run homer and Albert Pujols hit a solo shot as the Halos swept the three-game series.  

Jaime Barria pitched into the sixth inning to get the win.

Blaine Hardy was tagged for five runs in five frames to take the loss for Detroit, which went 0-and-6 on its road trip to Oakland and Anaheim.

The Tigers had just five hits in defeat.

The Tigers are off today before beginning a six-game homestand tomorrow.  

The Minnesota Twins come to Comerica Park for a three-game weekend series, and then the Chicago White Sox visit for a three-game set starting Monday.
