Tigers Drop Another Extra Inning Game to Pittsburgh

For the second consecutive night the Pirates beat the Tigers in ten innings

Colin Moran singled home Adam Frazier with the go-ahead run in the 10th inning to help the Pittsburgh Pirates trim the Tigers 3-2 in MLB action in Detroit.

Josh Bell's sacrifice fly in the eighth tied it.  Felipe Vázquez picked up his fifth save for Pittsburgh, which is 4-and-1 in its last five games with three of the wins coming in extra-innings.

Spencer Turnbull allowed two singles and one unearned run in six innings for Detroit.  Buck Farmer took the loss.  

John Hicks and Ronny Rodriguez drove in runs for the Tigers, who have lost five in-a-row.

The Tigers host the White Sox in the first of a four-game series Thursday afternoon.  Tyson Ross heads to the mound in the opener for Detroit.
