Rodgriguez, Greiner homered for Detroit, who got seven solid innings from starter Matthew Boyd
Josh Harrison hit a tiebreaking, two-run double in the eighth inning and scored two pitches later on a single by Grayson Greiner as the Detroit Tigers beat the Boston Red Sox 7-4 at Fenway Park Tuesday in the opening game of a day-night MLB doubleheader.
Ronny Rodriguez had three hits, including a home run, and Greiner also homered for the Tigers.
Miguel Cabrera added an RBI single in the ninth inning.
Matthew Boyd (2-1) allowed two runs and three hits in seven innings to pick up the win.
