The Tigers blank the White Sox to get back to .500 baseball

Mike Fiers yielded three singles over six innings as the Tigers shut out the White Sox 1-0 in Chicago.  Four Detroit relievers did not allow a hit with Shane Greene working a perfect ninth for his second save.

Miguel Cabrera's first inning sacrifice fly scored Leonys Martin for the only run.

Reynaldo Lopez took the loss, allowing an unearned run on five walks and two hits over seven innings.  Chicago loaded the bases with one out in the first, but came away empty.

The White Sox are winless in three home games.

The Tigers are in Cleveland tonight to open a four-game series against the Indians.  Francisco Liriano will start for Detroit and Corey Kluber for the Tribe.  First pitch is at 6:10 p.m.

The Tigers have won three in-a-row and four of their last five to even their record at 4-and-4.  The Indians are 4-and-5 overall.
