Three people have been arrested in a possible fraud investigation involving purchasing a car at a local dealership.
Police launched the investigation this month after a suspect used a fake driver's licence to arrange a vehicle purchase at a dealership on Tecumseh Rd. E.
The vehicle was set to be delivered on February 14th, at which time the transaction was set to be completed with the suspect.
Officers went to the dealership on February 14, the suspect showed up and was arrested without incident.
A vehicle associated with the suspect was also located and stopped. Two other suspects, found inside the car, were arrested.
An 18-year-old Toronto woman, a 31-year-old Brampton woman and a 28-year-old Toronto man are all charged with fraud.
