Windsor police have made what investigators describe as "a significant drug bust."
Officers were called to a motel on Howard Ave. near Edinburgh St. just before 1pm on Saturday after an employee reported seeing a firearm.
While officers were on scene, they arrested someone who arrived by car and approached the room - the car with two other people inside left and engaged police in a brief pursuit .
Once a warrant for the motel room was obtained, officers entered and found a firearm as well as fentanyl, a heroin-fentanyl mix, crack cocaine and an unknown substance.
Total value of the drugs seized is estimated at $54,000.
A 25-year-old man from Toronto, 23-year-old man from Kitchener and a 35-year-old Windsor man are all charged.
The investigation is ongoing and more charges are anticipated.
