The Major Crimes Branch is investigating a robbery in Windsor over the weekend.
Police say a man went to a home on Parent Ave. near Erie St. around 9:30am yesterday, to meet up with someone he had been communitcating online with and believed to be a prostitute.
When the 55-year-old man went inside the house, he was met by a woman, and three men.
The male suspects had their faces covered and were armed with an axe and a knife.
The man managed to get away after being assaulted and robbed and went right to police headquarters.
Police went to the home and arrested the woman, recovered some of the stolen property as well as the weapons.
Officers continue to search for the male suspects who are all described as white and between 5'7" to 6' tall.
Windsor police are reminding the community of the potential dangers associated with meeting a stranger over the internet.
