Three individuals facing list of charges following traffic stop in Leamington

Three individuals are facing a list of charges following a traffic stop in Leamington.

On Wednesday, Aug. 26, around 4 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a traffic stop on Erie Street South and Mill Street West.

Police state that the three individuals were arrested.

As a result, a 33-year-old from Lakeshore is facing eight charges including two counts of failing to comply with a probation order and six firearm-related offences.

An 18-year-old from Windsor is facing 19 charges including driving with cannabis readily available, six charges related to being a G1 driver, operating a vehicle without insurance, seven firearm-related offences, and others.

And a 26-year-old from Windsor is facing six charges that are all firearm-related offences.

Two of the accused were taken to the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor, for a bail hearing, and the third is scheduled to appeared in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
