There will be a police presence at a Windsor high school today following a 'threat of violence.'
On Sunday, Windsor Police began an investigation into a 'possible threat of violence' made on social media by a student at Massey High School.
Investigation revealed the student posted an image on social media but police say "there was no threat of violence."
Police report after hundreds of views, a false message developed that there was a threat of violence at the school.
Officers spoke to the person involved in the original post and determined that there was never a threat made and a plastic gun was seized.
Police will still attend the school today as a precaution.
