The Sabres have acquired goal-scoring winger Jeff Skinner.
The Carolina Hurricanes dealt the 26-year-old to Buffalo in exchange for Cliff Pu,a second-round selection in the 2019 N-H-L Draft and third- and sixth-round selections in the 2020 N-H-L Draft.
Pu was the Sabres' third-round pick in 2016. Skinner, the 2010 Calder Trophy winner, has amassed 204 goals and 379 points across 579 N-H-L games.
Skinner has one more year left on his contract.
