The eastbound and westbound lanes of Highway 401 from Iona Road to Colonel Talbot Road, between Chatham-Kent and London, will be fully closed to traffic this weekend.
The closure runs from Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9:00 pm until Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 9:00 am.
It's for the demolition of the east half of the Union Road (Elgin Road 20) underpass.
Highway 401 traffic will be rerouted via Iona Road, Talbot Line and Colonel Talbot Road with OPP assistance at intersections.
Major delays are expected.
