A local business is putting out a big thank you to local frontline healthcare and essential workers.
Moir Crane Services in Tecumseh has created an 8ft. by 20ft. banner which it will put up on a crane on Saturday and visit Hotel-Dieu Grace Health Care and Windsor Regional Hospital's two campuses.
The sign says "Thank you front line workers, essential service personnel" and includes a Canadian flag and praying hands.
Moir Crane President Randy Moir says it's the least they could do.
"We have put together a sign, best way I can describe it, that we are going to hang from one of our cranes at the Ouellette Campus, Prince Road and Met hospital."
He says it's a simple gesture to show the community's appreciation.
"Just simply stating thank you to the frontline workers and essential workers for their efforts on our behalf and giving them a little bit of recognition they deserve they are doing on our behalf."
Moir says these workers deserve the thanks.
"We know what they are going through and what it has put their families through, we know the risks they are taking and these people are truly heroes and we just are paying respects back to them as a member of the community."
The banner will be up for a couple hours at each campus Saturday.
