A tentative contract agreement has been reached for the City of Windsor's 1400 inside workers at the end of 2 days of concilliation.
The members of CUPE Local 543.1 are scheduled to hold a ratification vote this coming Monday at the Caboto Club.
The meeting is to start at 7 PM.
Local President Mark VanderVoort says the key sticking point was around "bumping" language.
He explains that's particularly important in the wake of the contracting out of staff at Huron Lodge.
He says the bargaining committee is recommending ratification of the deal, but can't discuss any details ahead of the meeting Monday.
The city's 280 outside workers ratified a 4-year contract back in late January.
