Five teens from Windsor and Chatham-Kent have been arrested for an attempted robbery.
Chatham-Kent police were called Monday around 2 a.m to an apartment complex on Merritt Ave for a break-in in progress.
Four suspects wearing disguises were trying to get into the apartment carrying a firearm.
Minor damage was done to the patio screen door. No one was hurt and the suspects fled as the homeowners call 9-1-1.
Chatham-Kent police located the getaway vehicle in a parking lot.
Seized from the vehicle were balaclavas and a black air soft hand gun.
Police say this was not a random act.
Two 18-year old men and two 19-year old men from Windsor and Chatham were charged with robbery and firearm related offences.
A 16-year-old Windsor youth is also charged.
