Tecumseh residents have a better idea what a proposed Ganatchio Trail extension will look like.
A public information meeting has outlined a potential expansion from the city limits to Manning Rd.
Paul Bezaire is with Bezaire Partners Landscape Architects. He says residents had a chance to see plans for the multi-use trail on either the south side of the roadway or the north side.
"That trail will be eight foot wide, paved trail for bicycles, rollerblades, joggers and walkers and baby carriages," says Bezaire. "It will be either on the north side of Riverside Dr. or on the south side of Riverside Dr. There's some reasons to go either place. There's some benefits to either side, there's some detriments to ever side."

Bezaire says there are pros and cons for putting the trail on either side of the roadway.
"Like on the south side for example, we have to cross about 10 intersections, on the north side we don't have to cross any. So from a cycling point of view, it's a lot nicer to go from Manning Road to the city limit without having to cross any streets and so that's an advantage for the north side, however we also have some big trees to contend with and there's some places we can't get an eight foot trail through."
A price tag for the proposed extension is still unknown.
Bezaire says the town has not set a budget or given final approval for the trail.
A report will now head by to town council.
