Town Hall in Tecumseh is reopening on Monday.
Public drop offs and in person visits for building and planning enquiries will resume at its 917 Lesperance Rd. location with some restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Deputy Mayor Joe Bachetti says residents will have to use the McNorton Drive entrance.
"As you know the town's going through renovations as well so we've got some protocols we have to put in place, not only for the reopening due to COVID-19 but also for the reconstruction," he says.
Bachetti says a security guard will be on site to screen visitors and ensure they're following Phase Two guidelines.
"Administrations been working really hard to put those safety protocols and protective equipment and physical barriers in place so that customer service can be permitted again at the town hall," says Bachetti.
He's asking the public to be patient and follow the rules so the town can continue to work towards opening the rest of its facilities.
"We've to follow the protocols of the province and the emergency measures that we're under and hopefully we'll get back to that stage where we can start enjoying those amenities," he added.
Bachetti is encouraging residents to continue using online resources when possible.
Town hall will only be open from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays with a maximum capacity of 10 people.
