A Tecumseh man is smiling from ear to ear after hauling in a big LottoMax win this Christmas.
Thomas Hughes won a little more than $433,000 that the tool and dye shop worker plans on investing in his retirement.
While picking up his cheque from the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto, he said "winning the lottery is something everyone dreams about." He found out he won while eating breakfast.
The 66-year-old husband and father of two bought his winning ticket at the Zehrs store on Manning Rd.
His winning ticket was from the Nov. 16 draw.
