As heard on AM800s The Afternoon News, the festival will be without a beer tent this year.
The Knights of Columbus group had usually handled the alcohol responsibilities but, let council know it wouldn't be taking on the job any longer.
Council decided to do the festival without the beer this year.
Town Manager of Recreation, Programs and Events, Carrie Wright, says even without the beer, it's going to be a fun weekend.
"In a number of discussions, they decided that we still want to have this festival but it will be an alcohol free festival — it's still going to have all the same great family-fun entertainment."
She says there will be plenty of music acts and fun to be had this weekend.
"We do have entertainment, live entertainment, all weekend long. We have our midway carnival, we have a vendor village so, there's so many things happening throughout the whole weekend."
The Tecumseh Corn Fest has been named to the Top 100 Festival list in Ontario for 14 consecutive years, prepared by Festival and Events Ontario.
