The Tea Party is holding a jam session in the name of charity following their show tonight at Windsor's Bluesfest.
Fans will have the opportunity to mingle with the band and guests at the Rondo on Pitt St. E. in downtown Windsor.
Drummer Jeff Burrows says wristbands are $100.00 with all proceeds going to Transition to Betterness Programs and the St. Clair College Scholarship Fund.
"Transition to Betterness and the St. Clair College scholarship fund, academic excellence, all of those types of things within the college," he says. "Beyond that, we'll probably have some things for sale which we'll donate as well."
Burrows told AM800 News he knows its not cheap, but its for a good cause.
"It may seem a little steep, I know that it is, but it's an opportunity to hang out with some like minded people," says Burrows. "Watch us jam some songs with some guests, see us jam out some songs you haven't seen us play in 30 years, and at the same time raise money for the community you know and love."
The Tea Party will be on the Bluesfest's main stage beginning at 9pm, before heading to The Rondo some time after 11pm.
