Deliberations are over and the Town of Tecumseh has finalized its 2020 budget.
Council wrapped up budget deliberations Tuesday night settling on a 3.6% tax increase.
The municipal portion accounts for just 0.3% with the remainder going to education and county levies.
Of note, the town will be spending $2.5-million more on capital projects compared to last year, bringing the total to $21.3-million.
Council is expected to give final approval for the 2020 budget at its December 10 meeting.
Last year, residents saw a 1.9% tax hike.
