There is a glimmer of hope in the nearly month-long strike of support staff at the Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board.
Unifor Local 2458 and the negotiators for the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board have been called to Toronto for talks.
Two days are set aside for the negotiations.
Board spokesperson Stephen Fields calls it positive.
"We're encouraged by the fact discussions have resumed. We've seen some movement on some key issues that I think were part of the reason why we were all called back to the table together and we've all arrived there in good faith and we're hopeful it will lead to a resolution." said Fields.
He says if there is progress, talks could be extended past the two scheduled days.
The 370 office, clerical, technicians, custodians and maintenance staff went on strike October 17th.
