System Issue Causes Truck Traffic BackUps At The Ambassador Bridge

The Ambassador Bridge is one of the busiest crossings between the US and Canada. The 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks in New York and outside Washington that have left more than 6,900 people dead disrupted trade across the Canadian-US border, which sees more than one billion dollars in goods traded each day. It affects US bound commercial traffic

A back-up at the Ambassador Bridge is being blamed on 'system issues' by US border officials.

Only US-bound commercial traffic is affected which has led to back-ups on Huron Church Road.

Windsor Police report delayed traffic as far south as Tecumseh Road.
