Windsor police investigating first murder of the year
Windsor police are now calling the suspicious death from Wednesday a murder investigation.
Police say the body of 16-year-old Chance Gauthier was discovered around 7am in an alley off Church Street between Erie and Caroline.
Police originally designated the shooting as a suspicious death.
Police say a weapon has not been recovered.
Anyone with information is asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
