Police have arrested two suspects in connection with a jewelry store robbery in Windsor late last year.
Police say the axe was used to smash several display cases, and the suspects fled with a quantity of jewelry.
Investigators say evidence collected at the scene was sent to the Centre for Forensic Sciences in Toronto, and two suspects were positively identified.
David Burgess, 46, and Jamie Napier, 40, both of Windsor are in custody facing robbery charges.
Police say no firearm has been recovered.
