A 30-year-old Windsor man is facing drunk and dangerous driving charges after a citizen alerted police.
Early Monday morning, city police were called on a report of an aggressive and potentially drunk driver.
The call indicated the complainant had nearly been hit by a car, a yellow Mustang, coming out of a parking lot on Tecumseh Rd. E near Hall Ave. When the two vehicles ended up stopped next to each other at an intersection, the Mustang driver yelled at the complainant then took off driving erratically.
The complainant followed the Mustang to a residence where the driver again yelled at the complainant and then began to pursue the complainant.
Officers pulled the Mustang over on N Talbot Rd. near the 6th Concession and determined the driver had been consuming alcohol.
Windsor police urge people to simply call in the information about a suspected drunk driver and not to follow the vehicle.
