A Waterloo man is heading to trial in the death of a Windsor teen.
Following a preliminary hearing to determine if there is enough evidence to proceed to trial, 21-year-old Mal Chol was committed to stand trial on all charges including first-degree murder in the death of 16-year-old Chance Gauthier.
The hearing began back in December and concluded with the ruling on Friday, February 22nd.
Gauthier's body was found February 14th, 2018 in an alley off Church St. near Erie.
He had been shot to death.
Chol faces other charges including kidnapping, forcible confinement and accessory after the fact.

At the time of the death, police said the accused and victim were known to each other and the murder was a targeted act.
A second suspect, Nouraldin Rabee, remains at large.
A date for the trial has not been set.
