Windsor police are searching for a suspect who robbed a teen after they agreed to meet for an online purchase.
Police were called to Sierra Drive near Dominion and Northwood on Friday, July 27 at 9:40pm for a report of a robbery.
A 19-year-old woman went to the area with a family member after she had communicated online with someone about buying a cell phone which had been advertised.
When she arrived at the address, a man approached her and identified himself as the seller.
He gave her the phone and she gave him the cash, but then he pushed her and grabbed the cell phone and took off.
The victim was not hurt.
The suspect is described as male black, 18-24 years, with a tall and slim build.
He had no facial hair, and was wearing a tight grey hoodie worn inside out with horizontal stripes, white basketball shorts and white basketball shoes.
Windsor police investigated a similar call in the same area on June 17, 2018.
