A Chatham man faces a number of charges including resisting arrest after evading police.
The 35-year old had eight outstanding warrants for various criminal offences and officers spotted the suspect Wednesday afternoon on Gray Street.
Police say he was running through backyards and hopping fences before being nabbed, but while trying to handcuff the suspect, he became agitated, aggressive and was tasered.
After being stunned, the man ran away but was quickly caught.
He's charged with resist arrest and escape lawful custody, in addition to the warrants, and is being held for a bail hearing.
