Windsor Police and University of Windsor campus police worked together on the case

Windsor Police and University of Windsor campus police have teamed up in arresting a break and enter suspect.

On Thursday, June 28 at 3:40am, police were called to a building on campus for a crime in progress.

Police met with University Campus police who said an alarm had been triggered indicating someone had entered a building on campus.

Two men were spotted inside the building.

Officers began a search and located a suspect running from the area across Huron Church Rd.

A 34-year-old Windsor man is charged with break and enter and possession of a break-in instrument.

A second suspect was seen fleeing from the scene.

He was described as a white man in his mid-20s with short hair and was wearing a black t-shirt at the time of the incident.
