The suspect who allegedly stole three iPads from Leamington District Memorial Hospital has been caught.
The hospital says it received several leads which then led to the suspect being identified and arrested.
The iPads still have not been located but several community organizations have come forward willing to replace them.
As AM800 News reported on Thursday, a man walked into the lobby area on two separate occasions this week and stole the iPads.
The theft was captured on video and an image was released.
The theft was worth $2,000.
Executive Director of the Leamington Hospital Foundation Ross Barnwell says the response from the community to the theft has been overwhelming.
"It has been remarkable," says Ross. "First we had a number of people through Facebook talk to us about who they thought the suspect might be."
A 35-year-old Leamington man is facing charges of theft under $5,000.
