A subdued hiring climate is anticipated for Windsor.
That's according to the latest Manpower Employment Outlook Survey.
The survey indicates 3% of employers plan to hire for the upcoming quarter (April to June), while 0% anticipate cutbacks.
Nikki Sharpley of Manpower's London office also says "another 93% of employers plan to maintain their current staffing levels in the upcoming quarter, while the remaining 4% are unsure of their hiring intentions."
Nationally, the second quarter of 2017 is expected to see modest gains for Canadian job seekers.
Darlene Minatel, Vice President, Manpower Canada Operations & Strategic Accounts says "many companies, especially in the manufacturing sector, are taking a cautious approach until they see what effect political changes in the United States will have on the Canadian economy."
