Students at the University of Windsor and at campuses across the province are protesting the high cost of tuition.
More than a hundred students waving signs reading "Fight The Fees" marched through the CAW Student Centre.

Mohammed Akbar with the part-time students association says promises from Queen's Park have not made a difference.
"While the government has said that they're doing various things including the free tuition grant we saw introduced a few years ago, none of these systems actually introduce any new money or actually solve the problem of higher tuition fees."
Trina James, Treasurer of the Canadian Federation of Students, says it's not just students in Ontario that are affected.
"This campaign particularly, this day of action particularly is geared to students in the province of Ontario, especially leading up to the provincial and municipal elections to get students thinking about these issues. But this is an issue students all across the country are facing."

James says it's a chance to send a message.
"The one thing I'm excited to come out of this is that politicians both in the Windsor area as well as across the province, are starting to listen to what students actually want and need leading up to the provincial election, so they name these things as their campaign points, " she says. "So we can come together as one and do what is needed for the greater good of Ontario"
Students were joined by representatives of several labour unions for the protest.
