Unifor members in Ajax reject deal extending Lear strike

A strike at the Lear plant in Ajax has caused the FCA Brampton assembly plant to halt production.

Members of Unifor Local 222 in Ajax walked out April 28th and have now rejected a tentative deal.

The Lear plant makes seats for the Dodge Charge and Challenger and the Chrysler 300 made in Brampton.

The Windsor minivan plant is not supplied by the Ajax plant and there is no impact on production here.
