John Klingbergs overtime goal sends Dallas past the Predators in six games

The Dallas Stars are going to the second round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.  

John Klingberg scored just over 17 minutes in overtime to give the Stars a 2-1 win over the Predators in Game Six of their first-round series in Dallas.

Ben Bishop made 47 saves for the Stars, who won the series four-games-to-two.  

Blake Comeau scored in the second period for Dallas to tie the score.  

Austin Watson gave Nashville a 1-0 lead in the first and Pekka Rinne logged 49 saves in defeat.

Dallas will meet St. Louis in the next round of the NHL Playoffs.

In other action Monday, the Carolina Hurricanes beat Washington 5-2 to force a Game 7 in that series.
